Areas of Practice
Ms. Gui Hongxia specializes in litigation and arbitration. She is experienced in dealing with disputes in the areas of investment, trade, product liability, real estate and anti-corrupt practices. She has participated in nearly 100 litigation and arbitration cases and her clients include multinational corporations, large state-owned enterprises, domestic and international banks among other organizations.
She has served as legal counsel to some of China's most prominent companies. The legal services she offers include rendering advice on various legal issues, drafting legal documentation, participating in commercial negotiations and assisting in dispute resolution.
In addition, she has advised on large-scale equipment purchases, overseas investments, technology transfers, and overseas construction projects. Ms. Gui has represented domestic and foreign firms in over CDM 10 projects, in which she drafted and reviewed emission reduction purchase agreements and conducted commercial negotiations.
Work Experience
Ms. Gui joined King & Wood in 2001.
She obtained her LL.B. from Nanchang University and her LL.M. from the University of International Business and Economics in 2001. Ms. Gui was admitted to the PRC Bar in 2001.
Ms. Gui is proficient in Chinese and English.
