Ms. He Wei specializes in litigation, international arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Having extensive experience in the field of international commercial dispute resolution, she has represented clients in over 200 litigations and arbitrations in the areas of copyright, domain name, trademark, patent, technology transfers, joint ventures, and international trade disputes. She has done arbitrations at CIETAC, ICC Court of Arbitration, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and International Court of Arbitration of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Ms. He also represents clients in IP litigation cases before the Chinese Court. Her clients include domestic and international enterprises, import and export companies, foreign-invested enterprises and large state-owned corporations.
Ms. He assists investors in negotiations for joint ventures and co-operations, share transfers, as well as acquisition and mergers.
Work Experience
Ms. He Wei joined King & Wood in 2002. Before joining our firm, Ms. He worked with the China-Britain Business Council, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, and the China National Machine Tool Corporation.
She received her LL.B. from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, her LL.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Essex, and a Graduate Diploma in English Law (Common Professional Examination) from Anglia Polytechnic University. She is an arbitrator at the CIETAC and a mediator at the Conciliation Centre of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). She is a member of the Chartered Institute to Arbitrators.
