Mr. Liu Yanling specializes in mergers and acquisitions, the restructuring of state-owned enterprises, investment, and real estate.
He is very experienced in corporate acquisitions and restructurings, particularly in connection with insolvencies among the subsidiary enterprises of financial institutions. His services include due diligence investigations, project structuring, extending negotiations, drafting project documents, and providing legal opinions.
He has extensive experience in restructurings and reorganizations, and in the liquidations of large state-owned enterprises. He has participated in the insolvency proceedings of many enterprises engaged in telecommunications, textiles, and financing.
Mr. Liu provides legal services to many well-known clients with investments in retail businesses. In addition, Mr. Liu is experienced in the development, financing, and sales of real estate projects.
Work Experience
Mr. Liu Yanling joined King & Wood in 2002. Prior to this, he served as Secretary of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce and Deputy Director of the Secretary's Office. He joined Tianchi Law Office in 1994 and worked as a partner from 1994 to 2001. Presently, he serves as a director of the Beijing Lawyers Association and as a committee member of the Discipline Committee of the Beijing Lawyers Association.
He earned his LL.B. from Jilin University. He was admitted as a Chinese Lawyer in 1989. Mr. Liu has previously been selected as one of the Top Ten Lawyers in Beijing and one of the Outstanding Lawyers in Beijing.
