Ms. Xu specializes in intellectual property litigation, alternative dispute resolution and intellectual property/technology licensing.
She is a partner with King & Wood's Intellectual Property Litigation Practice. Ms. Xu's practice covers a full range of contentious, non-contentious and transactional intellectual property, Internet, telecoms and technology matters. As one of the leading intellectual property litigators in China, Ms. Xu has tried dozens of cases, including many viewed as landmark decisions in Chinese intellectual property law. Ms. Xu has experience in addressing clients' legal needs in the areas of IP protection (patent, copyright, trademark, and domain names), unfair competition, trade secrets, IP licensing, technology transfer agreements, and dispute resolution. Ms. Xu's clients have included such multinational companies as Philips, Bose, KFC, Siemens, and Ford.
In addition to her work in the courtroom, Ms. Xu also has extensive experience with commercial IP transactional work, including the drafting, negotiation and enforcement of IP licensing agreements. For multinational companies looking to protect their valuable IP assets in China, Ms. Xu brings a wealth of legal expertise and a solid track record of successfully defending her clients’ IP rights.
Work Experience
Ms. Xu joined King & Wood’s Beijing office in 2000.
She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and her Master’s Degree in Civil and Corporate Law from Shandong University School of Law. In addition, Ms. Xu is currently a Doctoral Candidate in IP Law at the China Academy of Social Sciences.
Ms. Xu is member of the Bar of the People’s Republic of China. Ms. Xu is proficient in Chinese and English.
