Ms. Xu Ping specializes in foreign direct investment in China, mergers and acquisitions, and technology transfers.
She has extensive experience representing many multinational and international companies in their investments in China. The investments Ms. Xu has participated in have involved various industries including automobiles, energy, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, machinery, and infrastructure facilities. Ms. Xu also provides comprehensive legal advice to both Chinese and foreign-invested enterprises on such aspects as customs formalities, taxes, labor issues, and intellectual property protection.
Work Experience
Prior to joining King & Wood in 2000, she was employed at the China National Technical Import & Export Corporation and the China office of Wessing & Berenberg-Gossler.
She obtained her LL.B. from the University of International Business and Economics and her LL.M. from Stanford Law School. She was admitted as Chinese lawyer in 1993.
Ms. Xu is proficient in Chinese and English.
